Sunday services begin at 11 am and last for about an hour. Children are always welcome to sit quietly with their folks through the service. Activity bags for various ages (of children) are available at the Welcome Table. Please inquire!
Fair Trade coffee, tea and light refreshments are served downstairs following the service. We also sell Equal Exchange Fair Trade items to help small farmers and their communities. Please plan to spend time with us after worship. We also have t-shirts available for sale.
We encourage you to join in the service in several ways. If you enjoy singing - whatever your ability or range - you may join the choir any Sunday by rehearsing with them at the Meeting House that morning before the service from 10 am to 10:45. Whether you are here for one day or longer, please drop in!
You are also invited to share briefly any joys, milestones, or concerns during the designated time in the service, and to join in the congregational response after the sermon.
And of course, you will be asked to help sustain the Meeting House with a generous contribution during the morning offering. Please be generous. We are a small congregation, but dedicated to providing support and a spiritual community to visitors and seekers throughout the year.
If you would like to provide flowers for the sanctuary at a Sunday service to commemorate a loved one or a milestone, please call the UUMH Office at 508-487-9344 by the preceding Tuesday.
What to wear, what to wear?
Dress tends to be casual and at times idiosyncratic. Since our congregation welcomes and enjoys a multiplicity of personal and gender expressions, your own comfort - and sense of style - are the best guides. The Meeting House is not air-conditioned and can get sultry in the summer.
